![]() If im being honest, this thread serves two purposes. It is not finished.there are many characters that require better animating, and further balancing, but in its current state, its extremely fun to play and we have a small community on discord for s a good time, really. Vanilla PM 3.6 cast (if they're not vPM, yer not playin PM the way i see it.)įor a year I've been working on the balance for this build and we're getting closer and closer to competitive variants of alot of these character mods, bringing unique tech and abilities to the table. While i wont add anime movesets, some Z alts will get yer anime fix, i suppose. Items off default/random stagelist legal onlyįracture Replay Pack (And Character select screen control toggling!) In some cases, even if the 2 above criteria are met, if you dont fit in you dont get in. What this build aims to be is a balanced version of all these EX characters floating around, with the same general smash ruleset for additions.Ĭharacters game must have a nintendo console releaseĬharacters must originate from a game, not an anime or comic. Stages (Many non competitive stages have been replaced with their TE competitive alternates, the character costumes, etc) I'd feel wrong leaving legacy out of the title seeing how much was used from it. This deep, advanced nomenclature comes from my favorite shade of blue + the TE CSS menu aesthetic. This should happen automatically on build, but if it doesnt, just copy it manually. So, I've been urged by my supporters to make a thread on smashboards for this EX build (and a release on brawlvault.), and.well, here it is. Project M Cobalt Legacy Free To Modifyįeel free to modify the CodePatches file with your own patches, there is a brief description of how to use it in the comments at the top of the file. That file currently contains patches allowing for alternate stageĬompatibility, replacement soundbank engine compatibility, and P:M 3.6 support in general. GCT files are patched based on the CodePatches.txt file in the Resources folder. The original GCT wont be modified, patches are applied to a temporary copy of it. Note that ResourcespatchPatchCommon.xml also patches some stuff to 80, I dont know if thats related, but you could try editing that to match your codeliststart as well and see if it helps. If your mod isnt working check its gameconfig.txt for the codeliststart line, and try using the offset listed there. Setting this to 80568000 will allow Legacy M to progress a bit further than it normally does before crashing. This will change the offset that the GCT is applied at (by default 80570000) to whatever X is. This will notify you of how many GCT patches were applied from the CodePatches.txt file.Īlternate stages are padded to the size of their largest alt.ĭisabling this will cause any alternate stage that has a file size greater than its non-alt version to stop working. This will disable patching of the GCT based on the CodePatches.txt file in the Resources folder. This will do the same thing as -show-wit, but it will keep the wit windows open once wit closes, allowing you to read the output and figure out what is going wrong. This will show the wit command line windows rather than hiding them and displaying the progress in the UI. ![]() It seems like anything using BrawlEx, however, does not work at this time, so all Brawl- versions beyond 2.x.6 will not work. Psycho Ghosts 3.6 build has been tested and seems to work fine. Project M Cobalt Legacy Full Support ForĪll versions of Project M should run fine, including 3.6 and above, with full support for sfx.sawnd files and alternate stages. It currently works with many Brawl mods, although there are some issues. Project M Cobalt Legacy Download By amenalme1986 Follow | Public
